B265-01 SmartPulse – 18 kN Electro-Mechanical Dynamic Testing System

SmartPulse is an advanced electro-mechanical dynamic testing system designed for precise testing of asphalt, soil, and unbound granular materials. This all-in-one machine integrates tension, compression, and dynamic load testing into a single system, reducing the need for multiple devices and optimizing laboratory workflow.

The system features a high-performance electro-mechanical actuator with 18 kN dynamic load capacity and 12 kN static load capacity, providing accurate results without the energy consumption of traditional hydraulic systems. The machine operates without an external compressor or pump, thanks to its built-in gearmotor.

SmartPulse integrates a refrigeration unit with in-built water cooling, expanding the machine’s temperature control capability to a -10°C to +60°C range. This enhancement makes the system ideal for laboratories conducting low-temperature asphalt characterization or any tests requiring extended climatic conditioning.

A front window allows access to the test space without affecting chamber temperature, minimizing energy usage and stabilizing test conditions. Temperature can be monitored and adjusted via PC.

SmartPulse is fully integrated with Pavetest’s CDAS2 controller and TestLab software, enabling automated test execution, data acquisition, and comprehensive analysis.
